Lavina Mehta MBE @feelgoodwithlavina is a 43-year-old PT and mum of three. Lavina was awarded an MBE for services to health and fitness during Covid-19. Her mission is to help all ages, including the elderly & less mobile, Feel Good physically & mentally, using her concept of “Exercise Snacking” & free workouts covering Mobility, Cardio, Strength & Stretch. Her slogan is to “Exercise for Sanity not Vanity.”

My mission is to help ALL ages Feel Good physically & mentally. Passionate about using exercise as medicine to help reduce risks of common chronic illnesses prevalent in Asian community like Type 2 Diabetes & heart disease, as well as promoting the mental health benefits. Breaking the barriers of time, cost & motivation through my concept of "Exercise Snacking!" Building movement into our lifestyles for the long term and encouraging women to lift themselves by lifting weights and strength training!

We cover my wellness/Feel Good journey, my why & how exercise has helped me.  I want to inspire women of all ages, including mums, that its never too late to follow your passion!  We discuss what I’ve been doing over the pandemic, the importance of investing in your health & how thousands of elderly and vulnerable Asians have joined my virtual chair based workouts to combat loneliness, boost moods and immune systems.  I discuss a campaign I raised pre covid to “Get UK Asians Fit!” plus the common barriers to fitness women face in our community & share easy tips on how to reduce and prevent so many chronic illnesses, to help us through life's challenges and help us Feel Good physically & mentally.
